The Five Mile House is a Grade 2 listed, traditional family run pub that has barely been touched by the Twentieth Century. The interior has changed little over the centuries with bare wood floors, open fires and wooden seating.

Well behaved parents and children are welcome at the Five Mile House.

Dogs are welcome in the Bar, Tap Room or Cellar Bar. The Cellar Bar has it's own entrance to the rear beer garden and car park.

    Seafood evening

Friday 23rd October - Seafood night. A selection of seafood and shellfish. £18.50 for two courses.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2015 NEW As stated this is a secret little gem of a pub left in the past when the dual carriageway was built mostly missed purely by the fact that you are past it before you know and unable to turn around to get back to it however since taking over the pub 15 months ago I suspect that the reputation of the quality of the food served coupled with the excellent service and warm welcome you receive from the fairly new owners will soon make this place one of the places to eat in the county,We were so impressed with all the above that we made an immeidiate return booking for the weekend evening and if the lunch we both had yesterday was anything to go by then the evening meal should be exceptional and to be honest neither my wife or self cant wait to return secret gem Trip Adviser
