The Five Mile House is a Grade 2 listed, traditional family run pub that has barely been touched by the Twentieth Century. The interior has changed little over the centuries with bare wood floors, open fires and wooden seating.

Well behaved parents and children are welcome at the Five Mile House.

Dogs are welcome in the Bar, Tap Room or Cellar Bar. The Cellar Bar has it's own entrance to the rear beer garden and car park.

    Valentine's Day

Join us on Valentine's Day, Saturday 14th February, with the special person in your life. A la carte menu only. See menu page for typical menu.

The menu was comprehensive without being over the top. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were polite and attentive. Lovely selection of ales plus a delightful log fire! You won't be disappointed. 65bram (Trip Adviser)

Chef Patron, Stephen Rawicki and his son, Luke, create inventive menus using local seasonal produce wherever possible. All of our food is cooked to order to assure freshness and quality.

Panfried locally sourced duck breast with pressed confit, rhubarb, pak choi, dauphinoise potato and a red wine reduction.

Panfried calves liver with a tangy raspberry sauce, Romanesco cauliflower and a mustard mash.

Leek, potato and goat's cheese terrine with roasted cherry tomatoes and basil.

Smoked salmon, beetroot, horseradish cream and micro pea shoots.

We are delighted to be awarded a 5 for food hygiene, by the Food Standards Agency.
